I grew up immersed in the simplicity of the Old Order Mennonite lifestyle, surrounded by horse-drawn buggies, and a life without phones or electricity. At 19, I made the life-changing decision to venture beyond these traditions and explore the world.
My passions lie in geography and the diverse demographics of humanity, fueling my love for travel and discovery. Professionally, I began as a farrier and horse trainer during my teens and have spent the past 23 years working in Architectural Manufacturing. When I’m not traveling, I cherish the peace and fulfillment of life on my small farm in Southwest Missouri.
I find joy in cycling, gardening, and connecting with nature in all its forms. Through my journey, the most valuable lesson I’ve learned is the power of surrender—accepting what is beyond our control. Above all, I’m profoundly grateful for my amazing daughters, who have shown me that courage is the greatest strength we can cultivate in this life.
